Television Ball, December 15, 1939
This was a one hour broadcast held at the Waldorf Astoria in New York. The ball was broadcast to those lucky enough to have tv receivers at the time. It was also broadcast on tv monitors set up at various spots in the Waldorf Astoria, so that guests at the ball could see the program live and watch it on a tv monitor.
